Privacy notice
This notice explains how StackFit Commerce uses personal information when you complete an assessment, request an emailed result, buy a blueprint or contact support.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Matthew Jon Cocking, a sole trader trading as Matt Cocking Digital, operating StackFit Commerce from 11 Cormorant Road, Ruddington, Nottingham, NG11 6RW, United Kingdom. Contact support@stackfitcommerce.com about privacy.
Information we use
We may use your assessment answers, generated result, result reference, optional name, email address, consent choices, purchase reference, purchase status, support messages and basic security or service logs. StackFit Commerce does not receive or store your complete card number. Stripe and Link handle payment details.
Why we use it
- To calculate, save and display the result you request.
- To deliver free results and purchased blueprints.
- To verify purchases, provide support, prevent misuse and maintain service security.
- To meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.
- To send marketing only when you have made a separate marketing choice.
The relevant legal bases are taking steps at your request and performing a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where specifically requested.
Who processes information
We use Netlify for website hosting and result storage, Stripe and Link for Managed Payments, Resend for transactional email, and Google Workspace for customer support. These providers process information under their own contractual and security arrangements and may process it outside the UK using applicable safeguards.
Browser storage, cookies and analytics
The assessment uses browser storage to preserve progress and help you resume. Essential service and security logs may also be created by our hosting providers. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies remain disabled unless you give the relevant permission.
We use necessary browser storage to remember assessment progress and your privacy choices. With your permission, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 may process controlled page and funnel events. Analytics is disabled until you consent, and StackFit does not send assessment answers, email addresses, store URLs, private result references, checkout-session references or blueprint access tokens to Google.
Analytics and advertising permission are separate. You can reject non-essential technologies as easily as accepting them and can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the website footer.
How long information is kept
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, support access, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting duties. Purchase and accounting records may need to be retained after other result information is no longer required.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal information, and may withdraw consent for future use. Email support@stackfitcommerce.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Transactional and marketing email
Requesting or purchasing a result does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Essential delivery and support messages may still be sent to fulfil your request or purchase. Marketing permission is recorded separately.
